Because things were so frighteneing and uncertain for me at this time in my life, every aspect of my life began to drag...
especially where my job was concerned. I felt completely enslaved and uncomfortable with no way to rectify my feelings of
helplessness. Imagery from the devil card of the tarot deck depicts a man and a woman chained to the cube of bondage... as if
attached to all the useless things we all seem to flock to in our lives. I certainly could relate to that imagery at the time.
